Why We Started Tutorhand

TutorHand was created to connect tutors from every background and niche subject with students who were looking for a local, dedicated tutor. The site is designed specifically to provide the best search, educational, and logistical resources to both students and tutors, Tutorhand helps match those who are looking to learn with tutors who can help them learn.

With TutorHand, tutors can sign up and create a profile to promote and showcase their unique skill set and the subjects they have expertise in. The profile will also contain items such location, availability and hourly rate. The content of each profile is then made available to potential students or working professionals who are looking for a tutor or mentor.

Tutorhand was founded by Dan Garblik and Dan Greenberg, two tutors with years of experience working independently and with some of the most elite tutoring agencies in the country. Seeing firsthand the challenges faced by both tutors and students, the management of Tutorhand works tirelessly to assure that the best educational resources are made available to its members.

Tutorhand is part of the larger Hand Network which provides independent service providers with an easy and cheap way to create advertising and marketing tools online and off for themselves while at the same time providing a forum for connecting providers with potential clients.
